I went on a busy Friday night at about 8:30pm and got seated right away. The bar and restaurant was crowded but I found the service to be exceptional. Everytime we finished a tapa, our waitress or someother waiter or busboy was there taking the plate from the table. I lived in Spain for a few years and I found the food at Bar Ferdinand to be comparable to the real deal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20976192.post-17664508446697403182008-03-16T15:42:00.000-04:002008-03-16T15:42:00.000-04:00I had the misfortune of going to Bar Ferdinand wit...I had the misfortune of going to Bar Ferdinand with a large group. the service was unbelievably rude and snotty. When I got up from the table to order a beer at the bar (because the waitress was taking a long time), they didn't want to sell me a beer and said "uuuhhhmmm you can get that from your sever." when I insisted they looked less than pleased. They refused to give any seperate checks (or even checks by table; they would only give one check for the entire group), and would only take two credit cards. This left the birthday girl with an extra $200 she had to put in. The food was mediocre, at best, and overpriced for what we got. Quite possibly the snobbiest, snootiest place in town.YIKEShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10799564013125735532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20976192.post-51521857297439538092007-01-07T11:37:00.000-05:002007-01-07T11:37:00.000-05:00Anonymous:

It's great that they recognized this and tweaked the recipe. Now I'm interested in returning.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
